1. first off There are three different type of panel LED, LCD, Plasma and OLED The superior one too.Plasma 0 offer crisp image quality with superior contrast level than LCD with the best reproduction of black and wide view angle but but Plasma has low dpi, reflective screen, heavier screen and produce buzzing sound with short life span than LCD. LED is the upgraded version of LCD by replacing the CCFL backlite with the LED backlite of the same LCD and so produce dark black, saturated colors, wider view angle, less energy consumption,slimmer profile while the OLED is the display that offer independent small Organic LED to display image without any use of backlite and so producing the best picture with the widest view angle of 180 and the most energy efficient and slimmer profile.
2. Now HDTV'S offer several usefull feature like internet access , apps, usb support, full Hd so you have to decide which feature suit your requirement. Full Hd is known for 1920*1080p resolution support and is needed in large size HDTV for more than 32" so as to maintain dpi to produse crisp image, so this is really usefull feature. If you use Facebook, youtube, skype than internet apps is also a great package as you got your apps running on your TV.
